A hundred and forty year old brick shell, gutted and rebuilt around a single idea: nowhere to be but here.
The front room is for conversation. Low tables, clustered chairs, and a long bar where the pours happen in full view. The back room is quieter, lit for reading, with the members' lockers set into the far wall.
Everything you can smell is intentional and everything you cannot is the ventilation working. We built the air system first and the aesthetics second, which is backwards for a bar and exactly right for this one.
